- data logger
- A data logger is an electronic device that records data over time or in relation to location either with a built in instrument or sensor or via external instruments and sensors.
- delimiter
- A delimiter is a sequence of one or more characters used to specify the boundary between separate, independent regions in plain text or other data streams. An example of a delimiter is the comma character, which acts as a field delimiter in a sequence of comma-separated values.
- time series
- A time series is a sequence of data points, measured typically at successive points in time spaced at uniform time intervals or at irregular intervals (event based).
- timestamp
- A timestamp is a sequence of characters or encoded information identifying when a certain event occurred, usually giving date and time of day.
- UTC
- Coordinated Universal Time is the primary time standard by which the world regulates clocks and time. UTC is synonymous with GMT.
